California Breeze Campsite

The place seemed pleasant when my girlfriend and her friends arrived on January 26, 2026. The caretaker said nobody else was checked in, which helped them feel at ease. But they later learned a foreign man had actually been staying there for six days. At about 2:00 AM, he knocked on their door over and over for around five minutes and tried to get into the girls’ room. They couldn’t reach staff or emergency help. By the time the caretaker came, they were crying and traumatized, and the caretaker still didn’t speak to or confront the man. They said, “I don’t know, we don’t really understand each other. He leaves in the morning and only comes back at night.” Nothing was done to deal with what happened or check on the guests’ safety. The response in an emergency was extremely slow and irresponsible, and the incident caused real trauma. I’d be careful about staying here alone or in an all-female group. Bring a male companion or more people, since help might not arrive quickly, or at all. It’s disappointing that the caretaker seemed unconcerned about the effect on guests and the campsite’s reputation. Please be careful. This could happen to you too.
