WMV Hotel & Restaurant

The hotel is clean, and the owner and staff are warm and accommodating. The restaurant focuses on Filipino dishes, judging by the menu. Dedicated kitchen staff prepare the food and serve it warm. It’s convenient if you want to attend Catholic mass, since the church is just two blocks away.

Captain Avellano, the owner, is friendly and very hospitable. Our room was spacious and clean, and the restaurant serves generous portions of delicious food. The hotel is in high demand, especially on weekends, so booking ahead is recommended.

The room was very clean and reasonably priced, and both the staff and owner were extremely accommodating. The location is handy too, close to fast food restaurants, a church, and city hall.

I was very disappointed. Before booking, I tried to call the listed number to let them know I might arrive at dawn, but it didn’t work. I booked and paid through Agoda, and expected the hotel to be open 24 hours since my flight was due into Manila in the evening. I reached Infanta around 1:00 a.m. and found the hotel closed. I tried calling again with no luck, so I stayed at a nearby inn. This was the first hotel I’ve encountered with nobody available at the front desk at night. Hotels of all sizes I’ve stayed in usually have night staff to help arriving guests. I’d booked ahead through Agoda, so they should have expected me.
