We came back for a second stay at GQ Plaza and were just as impressed. The rooms are clean, stylish, and spacious, with high ceilings that make them feel relaxing and a bit more premium. My husband and I were very comfortable, and staff were always ready to help. The restaurant food was so-so, but the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and accommodating, so dining was still enjoyable. The glass elevator is a nice touch, and the location is great, with a community park right outside for walks in the morning or evening. I especially appreciated how kind and respectful they were when they let us eat food from local relatives we'd visited at the restaurant. They warmed it up and even provided water and utensils. They're genuinely helpful. Highly recommended!

The location puts you right in the heart of town, and the price is nice too. We’ve stayed twice now, and the place has been clean and pleasant both times. The AC gets properly cold 🐧, and the shower water is hot ❤️. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was very good, with service to match. The hotel has several awards, and I can see why. The staff are lovely, as seems common in the Philippines. Highly recommend.

We had a spacious, airy deluxe queen room with a balcony looking toward the Cathedral. The hotel is right in central Kalibo, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We enjoyed several meals on the Roofdeck terrace. The food was good, though sometimes menu items weren’t available. We had a great time here, all the way from England. Thank you!

The staff were very accommodating, and the experience was worth it. The park has a playground, with plenty of street food on weekends, and the church sits just across from it. It’s a nice area for walking or running outside. Good for camping and solo travelers. The rating on legitimate travel sites feels deserved. Great job gq!

As a local in Poblacion, I had visitors from out of town stay at the GQ for a couple of nights. The roof terrace was lovely for dinner, with a beautiful, private feel and exceptional food. Poblacion’s finest location.
