Reddoorz @ Old Buswang Road

The owner and staff were amazing, and I loved that freshly brewed coffee was available any time of day. The room was comfortable, with a TV, air conditioning, and a hot and cold shower. I'd love to come back and stay again.

We had a lot of mosquitoes in room 202, and the shower heater in our bathroom was broken. The Wi-Fi only worked on the first floor, while the cell signal inside the hotel was very weak. Getting around at night was difficult because transportation was very limited. We also couldn't get a receipt after paying. The front desk was only open from 10am to 5pm, and we had a 10am flight, so we needed to leave early. We called to ask them to come in early and were told they'd arrive at 8am, but nobody showed up then.

The online photos didn't match the actual rooms, which was honestly disappointing. I'd give the stay 2 stars.

There's a convenience store just a few steps away, and the location is peaceful and a little remote. It's a reasonable distance from central Kalibo, so getting to the mall or public squares doesn't take long. The place has Wi-Fi, too, so staying connected online is easy. A nice place to stay if you're in Kalibo.
