Rjat Guesthouse

We were exhausted after my partner had driven for eight hours, so we stayed even though it was already late. The room had cockroaches, including some coming out of the shower drain, and I saw one run from beneath the hallway water dispenser when I went to get water. We were glad we’d brought our own blanket to sleep on over the bed. I couldn’t rest properly thinking about the cockroaches.

For a low-cost room where you just need somewhere to sleep, this guesthouse is fine. There’s a convenience store on the first floor and carenderias nearby. The Wi-Fi works, the shower has hot and cold water, and the attendants are kind. It’s close to Camp Vicente Lim and iMall.

The room is a decent size, with furniture, internet, and hygiene supplies, and the staff are kind. It’s peaceful too. The downsides were thin walls, some air conditioners that didn’t work properly, and TVs without cable or Netflix.

It cost just over a thousand for an overnight stay through noon the next day, so it’s very cheap. There’s Wi-Fi, a TV, and a shower with warm and cold water. The air conditioner was very weak, but thankfully there was an electric fan in the room. The Google Maps location needs correcting. The place is about 1 km from the PNP regional headquarters, so it could be handy if you have business there and need somewhere to stay for a couple of days.
