What began as a one-night Valentine's Day stay turned into three nights, and the whole thing became a nightmare. When we asked to rent a second room, they said yes, but that didn't turn out to be true. We ended up being sent to another hotel they owned, at a much higher price, because they had to rent the whole place to a group. There are plenty of other choices in Laoag City. This place will lie and cheat you, so don't stay here. You can find better prices, service, and accommodations elsewhere.

Casa Felipa is right on the main road, which is handy if you're visiting Norte before heading to Pagudpud. It's the perfect budget-friendly stop for that kind of itinerary. There are cheaper places, but they seemed a bit shady compared with Casa Felipa's location. The accommodation isn't what you'd expect from a typical 3-star place, and maybe not even a 2-star one.

We were a family of four, and the owners were kind, helpful, and accommodating. They suggested sights to see and places to eat. The place was clean and nice, with enough parking and a small swimming pool. I'd recommend it for couples, groups, or families with kids.
