The owner and his wife kept to themselves, but they were nice to me. There's an air conditioner and a fan in the dorm room, plus some hammocks and a bamboo table. You can buy food nearby to eat at the guesthouse, or go to one of the restaurants. The bathroom has very weak water pressure and no hot water.

It feels like staying in someone's house. The place is nicely decorated in a Buddhist style, smells pleasant, and has comfortable couches and books to read. The Wi-Fi is very good, and you can buy beer and liquor from the fridge at normal prices. It's a very clean, relaxed place with good vibes and especially good value. The room is a bit small, the beds wobble a little, and there are no power outlets near the beds or curtains. The air conditioning is perfect, though, and the bathroom is clean with a hot-water shower.

We needed somewhere in Lapu-Lapu at the last minute, found this homey place on Google, and they accommodated our group of four quickly that night. For just one night, it was very affordable. It felt peaceful, almost as if we weren't in the city. The room wasn't well lit on the side where I was, so we had to sit in the middle to get enough light. Still, we had a great stay.

The dorm room was a little cramped, but it did the job. The AC was good, and there was a basic ensuite. It's fine as an airport stopover, and the open area was nice for sitting and chatting with people. The staff were very welcoming. I only stayed one night, so I didn't take everything in. The main issue was getting a taxi or even a Grab from this spot in the early hours, which was difficult.
