The pool floor had nails sticking out, and people got foot injuries from them. In Room 304, the CR had no lock. The AC was already set to its lowest temperature, but the room was still so hot we were sweating badly, with no ceiling, standing, or wall fan as another option. The Wi-Fi was too weak for us to watch YouTube on the Smart TV. It was a nice experience in some ways, but those were serious red flags.

There was plenty of room to stay, and the bed and pillows were cozy. The Smart TV was great for watching YouTube. But when we arrived, the fridge wasn't working, the toilet hadn't been cleaned, and the shower had neither hot nor cold water.

Booking.com should be ashamed to allow this total scam. The neighborhood looked rough, dark, and scary, though there were nice kids outside. A young man in the office was kind and understood our concerns. We never even reached the room before leaving. They charge five-star prices for a one-star hotel, with no hot water and no shower, just a tub for a cold bath.

On a budget but still want to stay in a hotel? This place worked well for me. The public market and supermarkets are easy to get to, and Virgen dela Regl Parish Church is only a short distance away. There’s even a karaoke bar in the hotel, so you have that too.
