Travelbee Airport Inn

The staff were very accommodating and provided free breakfast, and there’s a nice spot to relax and chill. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, near Terminal 1 for domestic flights, and offers free airport service. An elevator in the future would make handling luggage easier.

The only thing going for this hotel is its proximity to the airport. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, and the cleanliness was unacceptable. Reception staff weren’t welcoming or helpful, which made an already uncomfortable stay worse. There were frequent visitors and suspicious activity that made the place feel unpleasant and unsafe. For the room quality, service, and overall experience, it’s significantly overpriced. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

Breakfast was nice, with eggs, rice, noodles, and some kind of sweet breakfast. Our small room had no window, but the AC worked well. The bathroom had a small water leak, which was the only downside. The airport is about five minutes away by Grab. I’d recommend it if you need to stay near the airport, or have just arrived and need a night before going somewhere else.

The included breakfast was a decent Filipino-style buffet, and front desk staff were polite. At the time I’m writing, a free shuttle runs hourly, which is handy between connecting flights. Our room in the middle of the complex was windowless and very quiet, with good air conditioning. It was functional, with a TV, WiFi, and a fire extinguisher. No towels were supplied during our stay. They asked for a PHP 500 “security deposit” at check-in, refunded at checkout. There are many shops and restaurants nearby.
