The road up to the hotel is awful, and our room was never cleaned. The pool also closes at 1 p.m., so it isn’t kept clean through the rest of the day. We had power cuts on three days, around six hours each time, which meant no AC or fan in the heat and no Wi-Fi, though the Wi-Fi was poor anyway. The AC was loud, the fridge door wouldn’t close properly, and the boiler gave us no hot water. I even got an electric shock from it once, so after that I washed wearing Crocs. Breakfast was another issue: they kept knocking at 7:30 even though nobody answered. For $50 a night, this was a terrible stay. The staff could at least smile, but they didn’t. Worst hotel we’ve stayed in.

The pool was lovely at night, and the place was passable for the price compared with some other options. But there were ants biting us in bed, no snacks or drinks in the fridge, and neither the hot water nor stove worked. There were no pots, the air-con was noisy, and maintenance generally felt lacking.

The staff and managers were welcoming and always ready to help. Cangdoki resort has a lovely, relaxing feel, with lodges, backpackers, honeymooners, and cabins for longer stays. God bless, and enjoy your time there.💕💕💕

We had a great dive today and really enjoyed the sumptuous lunch too. Many thanks to Sir John and Sir Erwin for making the dive arrangements and looking after us👌 🍖🍜🍛❤ It’s a very nice, cozy place, and I hope it keeps getting developed.
