Don’t book here. It’s not a hotel anymore. I tried to go in but there were no guards, so I asked someone staying there. She told me it had become a boarding house for students, most of them Indian. Good thing I hadn’t paid yet and had chosen pay over the counter.
I’d call this a two-star hotel with three-star service, though I’m giving it four stars. The room was clean, with no leaky bathroom fixtures, a hot and cold shower, an electric kettle, good air conditioning, plenty of light, and four pairs of electrical sockets for a small room. The bed was sturdy and didn’t squeak or seem worn out from frequent horizontal tango. The TV has a GMA Affordabox for free-to-air digital channels. This isn’t a bed and breakfast, but you can bring in takeout or delivery food. Wi-Fi is a bit intermittent, and weaker in rooms farther from the router.
We booked weeks ahead and confirmed on May 8, 2022, then arrived as planned on May 12 to find the place closed and out of business. We had to quickly find another nearby hotel and pay extra for a taxi. Agoda should remove them.
Bad place to stay. The staff make noise in the middle of the night, and they tried to charge me for damage when there wasn’t any. Pay attention to everything if you stay here. Bad management.
It’s near perpetual college. Some of the more popular amenities offered are free Wi-Fi, free parking, and room service.
