For P1,700, the double-bed room felt like a fair deal. It had air conditioning, a flat LCD TV, hot shower, towels, slippers, and two complimentary bottles of mineral water. You can bring food and eat in your room. It was May 2019, and most hotels were full. After trying one hotel after another, we searched Google and were lucky to find Lakwatza Inn with plenty of rooms available. I'd recommend staying here while touring Albay Province. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you again.

The room was clean and fine for two, but it faced the street, so the noise kept me from sleeping well.

As I was getting ready to check out, I found my iPad Pro completely soaked on the desk. Water had leaked from the A.C. I was at the front desk speaking with someone named Jon Bonaqua, though I’m not sure I have his name spelled right, and he seemed to be avoiding responsibility. Someone also came into the room and rudely told us we should have put the iPad somewhere else. Be careful where you leave your belongings if you stay here. The service standards need a drastic improvement.

The location is handy, near the church and plaza, and Colonial Grill is close by too if you want to try its chili ice cream. A good place to stay.
