F&C Guest House

F&C was the obvious choice for my wife’s family wedding reception in Canlaon. She grew up in a poorer part of Canlaon City, and her family had always thought of F&C as a place for rich people. We had the top-floor party hall packed with extended family and friends. The staff brought our drinks quickly, kept up with the plates and cleanup, and still gave us room to celebrate for hours. The speaker system was loud enough to hear in our room on the second floor. Our room was small and quaint, but compared with nearby homes it was great. The air conditioning worked well, and I could keep an eye on our rental van from the balcony facing the front. I had trouble getting the water to stay hot, though at least I didn’t need to use the tabo. Everyone on staff was friendly, like people seem to be throughout the Philippines.
