The owners and staff were the highlight for me: kind, upbeat, and ready to help. When small problems came up, they sorted them out within minutes. I could ask questions anytime and get useful information and tips. I still remember chatting with them over breakfast in the courtyard, learning a lot and getting to know the Filipino mentality. Many thanks for the hospitality. I spent 19 days there, and the stay made my vacation unforgettable. The complex was clean, well looked after, and nicely placed near lots of shops. I especially liked eating breakfast in the little huts in the courtyard. The breakfast was tasty, plentiful, and varied. If I slept in or wandered off, they brought it to my room. My room and bathroom were spacious enough for me and very clean. I could have used a place to put my clothes, but it wasn't a big problem. All the equipment worked perfectly, and there were plenty of power sockets, including by the bed. I can warmly recommend this accommodation.

The staff were great, and we especially liked Abner. The hotel was good for the price, though the area is very loud. We tried to book tours through the hotel, but the prices kept changing, so we went elsewhere. Still, it was a good stay.

The scooter rental was far more expensive than elsewhere. We paid much less in other places, sometimes half the price. At the water dispenser, we were told to stop filling our bottles because we'd already taken enough. The room price was hard to justify. It wasn't anything special or particularly nice, and there were large dead bugs on the floor. We were there over the holidays when every hostel was full, and this was the only room available. The receptionist said it was insanely expensive, knowing we'd already checked several other hostels. When we checked the price the next day, it turned out we'd been charged twice as much because we were desperate. It felt like we were being ripped off as tourists. Breakfast was advertised online as included, but after we'd eaten, we were told there was an extra charge. It was 500 Pesos for three dry slices of plain bread and powdered juice.

The location is right in the heart of the area, so it's easy to get around, and the room was very spacious with big beds. Service was great. The family room we had did have drainage trouble and no shower, though. Hope they fix it. Still a good place to stay.

The staff are the best part for me. They're helpful, and if you need anything, just ask the ladies. They'll do what they can if it's possible. It's in a quiet spot on the next street from the market, port, and malls, all within walking distance. For the beach, you can take a motorbike or tricycle. The room was huge, with a big bathroom, a good bed, and supplies like soap and shampoo. The hot shower was probably the best I've had. Also, this is the cleanest hotel I've stayed in in the Philippines.
