Mayon looked perfect from the rooftop, and the two nights I spent here were lovely. Good value for the price.

The rooms have fresh paint, and the hot and cold showers have been fixed. Cleanliness has improved a lot, and the place feels more comfortable while still being affordable.

The room still wasn't ready when we arrived, even though we'd booked a month ahead. The lounge was messy, and cleanliness was close to zero. Our slippers were dirty and still had hair on them, and the bathroom was dirty too. A basic scrub of the toilet, shower head, door, and walls would've made a difference. The unpainted door made the room feel like barracks, and staff weren't accommodating. There was no TV, and my phone signal was weak. The bidet had low pressure, so the toilet wouldn't flush properly without overflowing. There were mosquitoes in the room. The parking is gated and the Wi-Fi is great, but the parking area stinks, with cats and dogs roaming around adding to the smell. There are better and cheaper places in Legazpi, so I wouldn't recommend this one. Worst of all, we left for a little while with the aircon on so the room would be cool when we got back. Some of our things were still inside, but staff entered without permission to turn it off.

I stopped here for a night because of the heavy rain and was worn out. The Wi-Fi was fine, though the cable TV didn't work for me. I needed a rest before continuing my motorbike ride to Manila in the morning. It was affordable.
