The rooms have a classic, regal feel, and the interior was lovely and calming. Staff greeted me when I arrived, and the food was made especially for us. I liked the Binakol. I left with a better impression than I expected.

Seriously awful. The gardens are lovely, with wonderful plants, but everything else was a letdown. The overpriced rooms smelled of mold, and you could see it. The carpet was torn, the buildings seemed completely unmaintained, and the air conditioner was rusty and moldy. The shower was moldy too, and the glass was so dirty I couldn't see through it. Someone's soap, with hair on it, had been left there. The sink was old, rusty, and filthy. They lock you in after 8pm without warning, so you can't even get to your car in the parking area. That's extremely dangerous: there was nobody to let us out, and no one answered the phone number they gave us. Even the fire exits were padlocked. There's no way out in an emergency.

The restroom was disgusting, poorly lit, and reeking, with trash cans knocked over. I asked an employee politely to clean it twice, but they seemed more interested in chatting. The whole state of it made my skin crawl. Then my cousin nearly stubbed his toe on something that looked like a thumb tack. When we pointed it out, nobody even checked, apologized, or did anything. I know the resort is old, but I hoped they'd made improvements. They updated the look and added amenities, though our experience suggests they need an internal review. A cottage for six costs 600, with the amount consumable only on specific food. The bihon was okay, but the extra nachos we ordered were very salty. They also insisted on charging 200 for an extra table I said I didn't need, saying it was their policy. There are fees for every swimmer on top of the cottage and table charges, which feels redundant, and pool towels cost extra too. I thought, fine, charge away, and tried to enjoy the day. The cottage was dusty and had red ants swarming around it. The steps down to the pool were rough and hurt my feet, but I tried to overlook that as well. I don't mind paying, but I do mind being treated without respect. A dirty place and poor customer service disregard customers' well-being. Don't rest on your laurels. Step up and raise your standards. #arghzam

The rooms are quite spacious, and the staff were friendly. There's a fantastic view and a nice pool, so it's good for an outing or some relaxation. They also serve delicious food.

The pool was nice, and the staff were very nice too. I find people in the Philippines accommodating and kind in general. Still, I wouldn't stay here again because the place is run down and the rooms need repairs. The sink faucets didn't work. Hopefully they can upgrade this old place over time.
