Orange Mangrove was cozy and clean, and I felt comfortable there. The market, restaurants, and sights were all within walking distance. Breakfast was generous, though they don't serve bread with scrambled eggs, which felt a bit odd to us, so bring your own 🥪. I had a clean, cozy room with a shared bathroom. Traffic was noisy late at night and early in the morning, so good earplugs may help. You can book day trips there, but the price is higher, or book online and have the agency pick you up from the guesthouse.

The location feels safe and the people are friendly. Highly recommend it.

It was fine for one night, and the whole hotel was very clean. The owner was friendly and even called our pickup van company when they didn't arrive. They can also arrange tours and excursions. We had free water refills and breakfast, which was two toasts with butter and egg plus tea or coffee. Wifi worked well. Our "deluxe double room" was a small, plain room with a bed, AC, and TV, but no windows. There was just one shower and toilet downstairs for the floor, plus one toilet upstairs. The sheets and towels had such a strong perfume smell from washing that we both got headaches. The AC switched itself on and off overnight and was set to 25 degrees, too cold for us, with no way to change it. The shower head was a joke. The little terrace was nice, though all the outdoor tables had ants, and the entry area had a hammock.

The staff were friendly, and the property was clean, with a hot shower and refillable water. The dispenser was never plugged in, so the water was always warm. They let us put our bottle in the fridge, though I'm not sure they'd want every guest doing that. There's food available for a cost, a nice option for meat eaters, but we didn't eat there because there weren't really vegan choices. The location was great, about a 5/10 min walk down the road to the main hustle of PPC and the waterfront. We may have been unlucky with our road-facing room: cars and bikes raced past day and night, sounding like we were right on the road. The owners' dog was cute, but barked so often it got frustrating. There were lots of mosquitos in the rooms, so be prepared 😉
