Cebu One Tectona Resort Hotel

The Fun Lounge and golf experience were enjoyable, but the night turned into a nightmare during our one-night booking of three rooms. We came to relax for my birthday and ended up stressed, with almost no sleep. Wedding guests on our floor were very loud from around 3-4 a.m. until about 10 a.m. They kept setting off their room door alarms, running in the hallway, playing music through loudspeakers, banging on doors and walls, and shouting. Some of us had only fallen asleep around 2 a.m., so we were woken just an hour or two later. The walls are thin, and the noise was unbearable. I called the front desk around 4 a.m. The staff member said something like, “Oh no ma’am, you really ended up next to their rooms.” I don’t know whether he spoke to the guests, but the noise didn’t ease. I eventually went out and asked one of them to quiet down myself, with little effect. I don’t understand why our three rooms were booked separately at intervals and put between the wedding guests’ rooms. Why weren’t the wedding guests placed together? It felt like poor room management, and the management was terrible. Not worth it.

We keep coming back for Franc’s happy hour margaritas because they’re always just right. His bartending is impressive, but it’s his friendly manner and the way he connects with customers that really make a difference. Franc makes us feel welcome every time. We enjoy the positive energy and great conversations, and he helps everyone feel comfortable and valued. Thanks for going above and beyond, Franc. You’re a big reason we return!

The hotel is really good, with amazing food, friendly staff, and a very comfortable bed. It suited us for a retreat, since there isn’t much to do around the hotel and we spent our time staying there and reflecting. For significant places, you’d need to drive at least an hour in traffic. I do wish the clubhouse had a lift and that there were more key cards available. It feels more suited to retreats than a vacation.

The hotel needs to consider its neighbors more. The disco music is extremely loud and goes on until the early hours almost every weekend.
