I wouldn’t stay again. Most rooms have no windows, and both the room and bathroom are very small. It wasn’t dirty, but there was no service. The room key is on the wall, and you get a code to open the room. Outside, the only thing available is water for tea or coffee. At night, the building isn’t locked and there’s no guard. The location is near La Salle, Robinson Mall, and SM MALL, but that’s about it. No tricycle driver knew the guest house, so they all had to search for it. Never again.

We already told reception we were on our way, but they cancelled our reservation by text before we got to the hotel. We’d booked less than 30 minutes earlier, and they gave our slot to a walk-in guest after we didn’t answer a call. We could have been driving. They should have sent an SMS to check before cancelling. The reception staff showed no consideration for guests, and customer service needs a lot of improvement. Lousy service for travellers.

We parked at De La Salle, Lipa, just across from the place, and someone came to open the gate for me. It was hard to find because tricycle drivers didn’t know it. Google Maps got us close, then I called the owner using the listed number. He was very nice and spoke with the driver.
