I didn’t expect to find such a lovely place in that part of Lipa, Batangas, but Rose Villa proved me wrong. It’s a quiet, comfortable resort with a peaceful feel and lots of lush greenery. Even on a hot March afternoon, the grounds brought cool, crisp air. The garden is beautiful for an important event, and the design feels carefully thought through, with everything placed just right. A friend held both their wedding ceremony and reception here, and I can’t think of a better venue. The rooms were clean and spacious, with fine furniture. The crew were the best, always helpful and cheerful whenever we needed anything. Ms Rutchie was wonderful coordinating every detail and was so gracious with us. I highly recommend it for a family getaway or a life milestone.

I got married at Rose Villas Resort two years ago, and I still think back on those lovely memories. Choosing a venue was easy for me because my husband recommended it. He and his friends had visited and enjoyed staying here back in college. I fell for the place as soon as we visited. Walking in felt safe, peaceful, and relaxing. The weather was lovely, but the people mattered most: the owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. We liked it so much that we stayed both the day before and the day after the wedding, and our guests had nothing but good things to say. We’ll definitely come back!

I’d give the restaurant another try as the location matures. It has only just opened, and the space looks fresh, clean, and well presented. The parking is basic but should be fine if the restaurant and resort aren’t too busy. The washrooms were the weak point. They looked bright, but the floor was wet, there were no toilet seats, and there was nothing to dry your hands with. The menu is fairly basic and felt disappointing for the setting. Prices seem reasonable for what’s offered. Would I recommend it? Yes, give it a go, just keep your expectations modest.

The villas are wonderful and spacious, and it’s an incredible place to unwind. The staff were welcoming and quick to respond whenever we needed something. One issue: the second-floor floors made a lot of noise, even when we tried to tiptoe. There were also lots of mosquitoes in the late afternoon, so bring repellent. They do have electric mosquito killers in the rooms.

It felt like staying at your family’s vacation house, and we had a very satisfying visit. Everyone on staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was okay. The thing that bothered us was the big black ants on the villa walls. I woke up with two on my arms. :(
