LOBOC RIVERSIDE INN and RESTAURANT

The river view was beautiful, and I never got tired of it. At night, the stars looked amazing, and you can swim from the platform. I also tried paddleboarding. I’m not athletic at all and struggle with balance, but Jhomar was patient and helpful the whole time, and I managed to take part when I never thought I could. I stayed solo for three nights and had a really relaxing time. It’s a great base for seeing the Bohol countryside and a good spot to work remotely, with very reliable internet. The rooms were great and the service amazing. Thank you!

The staff are good at setting up tours, motorbikes, and other services, and the location is good. But the bedroom and bathroom were tiny, the bedding felt low quality, and the aircon was dirty and noisy. Breakfast was really poor compared with other, cheaper places we’ve stayed at in the Philippines. In my opinion the hotel is overrated even at this price.

Loboc worked well as a base for exploring farther out, including Chocolate Hills, as well as for walks in the nearby hills and river activities. We spent three nights at Riverside Inn and had a wonderful stay. The deluxe room was good value, and the food was good too, especially while sitting with a view over the river.

The food was delicious and great value, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with pretty greenery beside the water. Bean & Berry, which I’d also highly recommend for coffee or lunch, suggested we try this place for local food. What a great recommendation. You won’t regret coming here.
