The place itself is roomy, clean, comfortable, and good value, with modern facilities, a warm pool, slide, waterfall, and a charcoal BBQ. The unit can fit around 32 people, and it’s well equipped. There are security cameras and lights too, and the owners have clearly put care into the furnishings and decor. Even the downstairs loo is unusual in an interesting way. But our stay at Arabella Hot Spring Resort was badly affected by noise. The posted local cutoff for karaoke and noise is 10 pm, yet a group about 30 meters away kept singing loudly while children screamed and shouted until nearly 4 am. We called the caretakers and main gate, but it carried on, leaving people in nearby units very uncomfortable and short on sleep. The caretakers didn’t seem to have the authority or confidence to stop it. There was more drunken noise from another group across the water on the other side of our unit, going on until sunrise. Owners in the development should treat noise enforcement as basic. We stopped our own noise at 10 pm.
There was plenty of room for all of us, and we could cook while keeping an eye on the kids and the rest of the family enjoying the well-kept pool. The beds were comfortable, the rooms very clean, and the white sheets gave them a hotel feel. They even had lots of extra pillows. The amenities were great and the staff were so accommodating. My husband’s family and I stayed for four nights, and it was the highlight of our vacation. Debbie MG was the best host. We’ll definitely return, and plan to include it whenever we’re back in the Philippines on holiday. 10/10.
We had a great stay for a small company Christmas party last December. There’s plenty of parking, a kitchen to use, and large rooms with lots of beds, so it works well for a big group. The pool had just been cleaned and refilled before we checked in. The only drawback was the small function space by the pool, which could feel cramped for outdoor games or team-building activities.
Unit C has a spacious pool and very neat facilities, with a mountain view. It worked well for a family gathering. Parking was the only issue.
That slide was so much fun, and I loved swimming there. The pool was clean and beautiful. Best experience I’ve ever had!
