OYO 687 Lohas Hotel

I was assigned this hotel as my quarantine facility after arriving from Doha through Clark International Airport. The grounds are spacious and include a pool, and the hotel is near the airport, though having a car makes it easier to get there. My room was large and decent, with a balcony looking out toward the pool and an automatic ceiling light by the main door. They provided some toiletries, but the selection was limited, and there were no slippers. There was a safe for valuables, a proper-sized refrigerator rather than a mini one, and a water heater for coffee. The WiFi connection wasn't stable, but I could tolerate it.

The place is quiet, private, and generally clean and tidy. I enjoyed the Jimjilbang, hot and cold Jacuzzi, and full body massage, all at an affordable price. My kid liked the swimming pool, the hot and cold shower, and the Jacuzzi too.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the surroundings were clean and well maintained. I also enjoyed the food. The hotel has lots to like, from its rooms and pools to the sauna and jacuzzi. Thanks for the lovely service, keep it up! Stayed April 10-12, 2013.

The food at the restaurant is Korean and reasonably priced. Families with small kids may like the clean, heated pool, which is about five feet deep, plus a kiddie pool around 2-3 feet. The pool design isn't especially pretty. There's a Korean sauna, which is a bit unique, and students can get discounts. Facilities could use an upgrade, but the basic spa options are good value. Come for practicality, not luxury.
