OYO 740 Bliss Hotel Dau

The staff were great and accommodating, and there’s plenty of parking, even for an SUV. The sheets and bathroom were clean, except for the mirror, which was very old with a somewhat rusty frame. Food was average, the rice portions were good, but the bulalo was a little underwhelming. I forgot it was a drive-in and expected bone marrow for 290 🤣. I came here at 2AM because of an unannounced power outage. The hotel is pretty old. The AC felt weak even on full blast, though maybe it was just me and I needed to set it to 17. It was an old model and the filter was dusty. If all you need is somewhere to crash for the night, this is good enough.

We paid 999 pesos for a 12-hour stay in a so-called premium room, but it didn’t feel worth the money or premium at all. Other hotels offer a better standard room than this one. The room was very poor and the toilet was dirty. If we hadn’t been exhausted from a long trip, we would’ve looked for somewhere better.

Basic rooms at basic city prices, and the staff are friendly. The toiletries are basic too, the towels are threadbare, and the AirCon is noisy. I’d stay here again.

I’ve been coming back to this hotel for around eight years whenever I visit, and the customer service has stayed very good. The price is reasonable and really good value. They’ve made a lot of improvements over the years, especially with cleanliness and food service. The rooms have been freshly repainted, dining service is much better, and the menu has plenty of tasty choices. It’s also only a few meters from the bus terminal.
