The camera room was a real plus for me as an underwater photographer: it’s spacious, practical, and has international sockets for charging and sorting gear. Anilao’s macro life and the diving were excellent, and my private guide, Marlon Austria, was patient, professional, and calm, with a sharp eye that made the dives productive for photography. This was my third visit to Aiyanar Beach & Dive Resort in Anilao, after winning a stay in the UPY2025 competition. The comfortable, roomy, well-kept rooms and consistently delicious food made it easy to relax, and the staff were warm, friendly, and always smiling. Marco Lacson Santos, the owner, took time to meet with me, which made the stay feel especially personal. Airport transfers were comfortable and smooth, and everything was well organized. I had a fantastic time and would gladly return. Highly recommended for divers, underwater photographers, or anyone after a relaxing stay with kind hospitality.

The dive package felt a little expensive, though there’s a cheaper option for shore dives straight from the beach, where the coral reefs are beautiful. Rooms were clean, and the service was excellent. There are a lot of stairs, so it may be a challenge if you’re not fit. I had a great time.

The dive sites here are mesmerizing, and the location is amazing. We dived with Kim M during this second stay, and the staff were attentive and the food delicious. It’s a lovely place to feel at home while you dive and stay.

The staff are very friendly, and the food and bar are decent. The resort itself is nice enough. But diving is the main reason to come, and by international standards the dive centre is very poor.

The photos really don't show how good this place looks, but here they are anyway. My family had an incredible time, from the roomy rooms and island hopping to relaxing in the zen hammocks after the buffet. The facilities were clean, the buffet was excellent, and the staff were amazing. It's under 90 miles from Manila, so what's not to like? We'll definitely come back. 👏
