The view from the balcony was the one bright moment of our stay at Camp Netanya. Kuya Leo was kind, welcoming, and explained the amenities enthusiastically. He suggested we catch the sunset, and despite the clouds we got a beautiful one. Everyone else fell well short. We arrived around 3:00 PM as the only guests checking in, but the front desk staff member seemed hurried and uninterested, barely explained anything, and quickly sent someone else to take us to the room. We booked despite the bad reviews because Agoda showed a banner saying the property had new management. The older complaints still seem accurate. The lobby was clean but smelled strongly of detergent, and the garbage in the parking area was still there and smelled bad. Outside Room 606 there was an awful drainage or sewage smell. It seemed they used a lot of detergent and bleach to cover it, leaving the room and balcony smelling so strongly of bleach that our eyes and noses were irritated. The room looked old and worn: tired sheets and bed, dirty paint, and old balcony furniture. It wasn't what we expected for premium rates. The next morning the power was out and there was no generator. Nobody warned us, called, or apologized. At about 10:30 AM we went to the restaurant expecting a regular menu since it was nearly lunchtime, especially given the poor breakfast reviews. They only served breakfast. For a supposedly Greek-themed restaurant, the option was silog, which tasted very poor and cost ₱350++ per order. That felt unreasonable. The stay was uncomfortable, overpriced, and disappointing. We regret giving it a chance.

On-site parking made arrival easy, and there are leisure activities you can book right at the property. The view is impressive, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, so it's pleasant to spend time here. Staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The property is well maintained overall, though a modest investment in targeted repairs and upkeep would help prevent wear and raise its standard. I'd still recommend it for a comfortable, pleasant visit.

We ended up enjoying our vacation here. The resort was clean enough for us, and the staff were very accommodating. We had expected less because of the poor reviews, but while staying there we felt those reviews were just other people's points of view. It is an older resort, and some room toilets and bathtubs need replacing. There's room to improve, but for what we paid it was good enough for us. The staff, clean spaces and pools, elevator, and complimentary activities worked well for guests who aren't too demanding. We hope they'll include breakfast with bookings and add a cafe to attract more customers. It's a good place for families and friends. Highly recommended, and we'll surely come back to have fun.

We had a horrible stay, and I wouldn't recommend this resort or return. I booked three rooms for my family; the other two were OK. This was an expensive place, and the fireworks promised for New Year's Eve never happened. Staff told us our room was a VIP room with a sea view, but the dirty bathroom and bed made it hard to enjoy. The sheets were sticky, had holes, and smelled bad. I put towels over the pillows and still slept poorly, thinking about how filthy the bed was. There were no bathroom towels at first. When I asked, they brought two, so I also requested hand towels and a face cloth, as hotels and resorts usually provide. They returned with those and asked if I needed a floor towel too, but the one they gave me looked filthy. The toilet seat was dirty, so I sanitized it before using it. Two people were sent to clean the bathroom, but we were exhausted from our flight and I declined, explaining that I'd already cleaned the toilet seat myself. The shower heater didn't work and the water was cold. When I called, the night-shift maintenance man said it was warm. I told him it wasn't, and he pointed out that the sink water was warm, as if I could shower in the sink. He kept insisting and pouting, so I told him to leave. In the morning I politely asked reception to send someone to clean the room and change the sheets. They did, and I finally slept well. It looks great in pictures, but inside it was horrible.

The view is lovely, and the team are lovely people, but the rest needs serious work. The rooms smell like sewage, and the taps and drains reek. The shower is unreliable, the food isn't great, and a very dusty fan sits beside the restaurant, which doesn't feel hygienic. Management, the technical side, and the basic setup all need a full overhaul.
