The best thing about the property is its location, close to the main spots in Sabang, and the hut had a great sea view. It was very simple, though, with no fan or outlets and faucets that didn’t work. The place feels a little run-down but still has some charm. During our stay the owner’s son was managing, and he was attentive and friendly. Power comes from a generator only at limited times, 18h-22h, which made charging our devices difficult. It would help to have a couple of hours of electricity in the morning too.

Loretta makes excellent fish, and there’s plenty of it. We also saved on the taxi back to PPS because the family was heading there anyway, so we only paid for gas. A win for both. We stayed in the cabin uphill, where the sunsets and especially the sunrise look like a postcard. It’s a very simple cottage with cold showers and electricity only while the generator is running in the evening. If you’re okay with that, it’s an excellent bargain.

The owners were so kind and welcoming, thanks Lorena and JB for looking after us. We got a free upgrade to a room with its own bathroom. It’s a great-value beachfront bungalow with lovely views from every room. I’d definitely recommend it.
