The breakfast was the weak point for me, with little variety and poor preparation, well below what I expected from such a high-quality hotel. Still, I’d recommend LYF Cebu City for the rest of the experience. It’s centrally located, spotless, modern, and functional, with professional, kind staff. The building uses impressive modern materials and design. Amenities include coworking spaces, a gym, pool, laundry, and a shared guest kitchen. The Wi-Fi was remarkably fast and stable, even just outside the building.

The hotel is right in the center, with a supermarket, 711, and some restaurants inside the tower. Grab pickup worked perfectly at the hotel entrance for trips farther out. The rooms are modern and very tidy, and the pool has a nice view. The gym is small but does the job. A pull-up bar would make it even better, though I’m glad there’s a gym at such a fair price :) I approve.

The room was on the small side, but really comfortable, and I had a lovely view from the 8th floor. Having Chromecast on the TV meant I could watch Netflix at night, which I loved. Breakfast was good too. I enjoyed my stay at Lyf and this will be my regular hotel when I visit Cebu.

It’s easy to get around from here, with Fuente, pungko pungko eateries, public transport, and even the Cebu City library close by. The Lyf guards are lovely and easy to talk to, and the general feel of the place is cozy. Rooms are trendy and a good size for the price. I’d recommend it for solo travelers or couples on a budget who want to stay in the center of Cebu City.
