We appreciated that they kept the Airbnb rate for our walk-in booking, which felt like a great deal, perhaps because it was off-season. The resort itself was clean and very peaceful, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. My family and I had a lovely stay. We had two rooms closest to the beach, both cozy and comfortable. The beach bottom and corals are sharp, so it was handy to be able to rent aqua shoes. We enjoyed looking at the fish and corals. Please help protect the marine life and don't step on or damage the corals. A faucet near the beach for rinsing off would be useful. Also, the entrance drops steeply, which could be difficult for older guests. Even so, it was a five-star stay for us.
The food alone would make me return to Vida Pacifica. The Filipino dishes from the kitchen were so good, and the chef and rest of the staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating. They adjusted plans with us, helped sort out transportation, and even found local snacks for our longer stay. We stayed in Room Maria, and the facilities and amenities felt like more than we paid for. It was a private, affordable beach staycation with a Bali-inspired look, great service, and really good food. I'd absolutely recommend it. My friends and I had an amazing time.
The beach was clean, and our child loved it. There are plenty of corals and fish underwater for snorkeling, though the rocky seabed and current can pull you around. If you're not a strong swimmer, don't go too far out, especially in the afternoon when waves may pick up. Snorkeling sets are available to rent for ₱300 per item or ₱500 for a full set. We also ate at the in-house restaurant and enjoyed every dish. The pool is small but kid-friendly. We wondered about the water color, though we saw staff cleaning it in the morning and it looked clean. WiFi worked well all around the resort. Our room had a nice style and was clean and maintained. The bathroom had a water heater and free toiletries. At night, the air conditioner switched off because of eco mode, which could confuse guests who don't know how to change its settings. The staff were kind, smiling, and helpful the whole time. There weren't many guests when we visited, so everything felt peaceful and relaxing. The road to the resort and parking is quite steep, so lowered cars aren't a good idea. There's a sign at the road, but more signs inside the property would help. We were happy with our stay and will be back.
Our room was clean and spacious, and there are several types to choose from: one right on the beachfront, some with beach and nature views, and a cute kubo-style hangout by the water. Toiletries were provided, though I'd bring a few extras just in case. The pool has a lovely view for days when you don't want to swim in the sea. We liked the food, which tasted homestyle, though the menu costs a bit more than usual and some dishes weren't available, possibly because they'd sold out over the weekend. At dinner we asked to eat on our balcony, and they quickly brought everything up. They serve condiments with the food without you having to ask, a small thing I appreciated. There's complimentary coffee too. Cooking isn't allowed, and bringing your own food or drinks comes with a corkage fee. We visited on a weekday, and the resort was quiet and peaceful. It has a leafy, jungle feel with the beach right there. The morning high tide made the beach look especially nice. The water was calm enough to swim in, then at night low tide pulled it far out. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and there was a very cute, friendly dog around that we loved. There are lots of stairs, which may be hard for older people or anyone with health issues. It's affordable and worth it, and we'd come back.
The water was clear, and the room was great. I liked its look and the feeling of the place. It came with towels, toiletries, bottled water, coffee, a mini fridge, WiFi, and a hot shower. The staff were friendly and easy to talk with when I had questions. They even arranged the birthday surprise setup I requested for my partner. A few drawbacks come with the natural setting. Geckos often leave droppings in the room, and the smell is really bad. That's nature, so I don't blame anyone, and housekeeping cleaned it from time to time. The beach is rocky, not sandy, and waves can push you into scratches, so bring a first aid kit. We usually carry medicine on trips, and this time had Betadine, cotton, and Bactifree. There's no stretch of shore to hang out or play on.
