We spent Christmas here with the family, and the beach was clean, trash-free, and calm because it's in a bay. The area was quiet and private, and two of the four rooms had beach views. The rooms included three doubles and one room with four bunk beds. Air conditioning got cold, blackout curtains worked well, and sheets, blankets, and towels were provided. The mostly open-air space had enough seating for ten. It seems ideal in the "ber" months, though I wonder how hot it gets in summer and how it is in the rainy season. The showers had hot water and good pressure. Internet was great and the power stayed on. Helpers were included, Ate Bona was wonderful, and there was free kapeng barako and a 5L bottle of drinking water. From the parking area, it's 50 stone steps down to the Airbnb, which could be tough for seniors or people with disabilities. Still, we'd definitely return. Thanks for hosting us this Christmas, Max.

The staff were excellent, and the place offers good privacy for a small group. It's fairly close to town. Bring all your own supplies, including food and drinks. Shower pressure was low, though that's pretty standard in the Philippines.

The sunset was lovely. We could sit by the water, enjoy our food and drinks, and relax by the fireplace. The owner helped us get set up, and the owner ma was happy to help prepare things for grilling. For a family or larger group, it could work well. I don't dive, so I can't comment on that. There isn't much around, and what you get is fairly basic: a bed, shower, and a coat terrace with a fireplace. Bring your own beer, booze, speaker, and meat if that's the kind of getaway you want, and you can spend the day drinking. One thing to plan for: there's no carrying anything you can't manage yourself. It's about 100 steps from the parking lot down to the retort. The owner helped us, but I recommend having everything handy. Thanks for the getaway. It's only 90 minutes from Manila.

Ate Bonna, one of the caretakers, was super helpful, and the place is very convenient if you're diving. The view is gorgeous. Rooms were clean, though the beds felt a little hard and weren't very comfortable. To save on meals, you can shop at the market. Ate Bonna's sister cooked for us and her food was amazing. There's also a restaurant called OMG about an 8-minute walk away; their sisig was fire. The dive sites nearby, especially Sombrero Island, were better than I could have imagined. I'm definitely planning to return.

Ate Bonna, the caretaker, was kind and helpful. The beach is good for snorkeling, so you don't need an island hop if water activities are what you came for. Bring goggles and a life vest if you need one, since they don't have those available. They do have scuba gear, and we rented a vest for 200 per person per day. The rooms were okay, but the bed was very hard, maybe because I'm used to a softer mattress. The cleaners don't have a vacuum for dusting mattresses or upholstered furniture, and daily housekeeping isn't included, so you clean at your own pace. I thought the food was overpriced. There are nearby restaurants, or, if you're picky, bring your own food and cook at the villa. Watch out while snorkeling because the corals are sharp and can scratch you. The marine life is great, with a sea turtle and baby sharks if you're lucky.
