Amazing View Mountain Farm Resort

You really need a vehicle here to pick up personal necessities, since there aren't stores close by. The best part for us was the location: swimming in the pool with that peaceful view was lovely. We often found the lobby without a receptionist, and sometimes heard voices under the stairs. Hopefully they weren't ghosts, lol. Also, towels and hygiene items were only provided after we asked for them. Those are the things we'd like to see improved.

This place is up a hill, and getting out to the road for public transport is a fair walk, so you'll need your own transport. I stayed just one night after the other resort we were at turned out to be nowhere near as good as we'd expected. Amazing view resort was nice, though.

We had a good time here, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It's pet friendly, and guests can bring their own food and cook it. The pools use mountain spring water, which was so cold, just right for a hot summer day. Set on the mountainous side of Mabitac, Laguna, the resort has a wonderful view and a cool climate. Some facilities could use improvement.

We've checked in here five times now, as of May 12, 2024, and they always accommodate us, even when we arrive late, with a nice room. This time our plan was to book a Cabana for Php 2500 for 22 hours, which is pretty cheap. It was full when we got there, so they gave us an Overlooking View Room for Php 3500 for 22 hours, with 2 free breakfast. There was a May promotion for 500 pesos off, so we paid Php 3000. We got in around 10PM and left at 3PM the next day. Their normal check-in and check-out times are standard, but they made a one time exception for us. We woke around 5AM to a sea of clouds right outside the window. We enjoyed the view until about 6:30AM, but forgot to take pictures. Then we went to J Coffee, a nearby coffee shop we love, and had 2 sets of coffee with egg sandwiches. Back at the room, we changed into swimming attire and went to the pool near the Huge Virgin Mary Statue. We swam for about 3 hours, chatted briefly with one of the owner's long-time employees, then went back to our room. Breakfast was delivered there: 2 slices of Spam, though I think it was Tulip Jamonilla, which was tasty and not too salty or oily, plus sunnyside up, a large, good slice of Embutido, sweet pineapple slices, and coffee. We didn't drink the coffee since we'd already had 2 cups at J Coffee. After breakfast we left to run some errands, came back for another hot shower, and checked out. The stay was worth it. Next time, I'll remember to take pictures so you can see what we enjoyed.
