Batong Malunhaw

The room itself was clean, and the bed linen was clean too. I took the cheapest air-conditioned option, which was a very basic empty room with a small table and plastic chair. The bathroom was small and plain. There was one working outlet for charging my phone, and no WiFi. The wooden walls were so thin I could hear other guests talking from meters away. There was no towel, no chance to buy even water, and the swimming pool had no water in it. Aside from the room, there was basically no service. I only stayed because I was pressed for time. The garden is the one thing they really look after, even though there was garbage outside the hotel rooms. Their priorities seem twisted.

The rooms weren't very nice and there was no heater. Dogs were swimming in the pool, and during our four-day stay they never cleaned it. You can't swim in the sea because it's rocky and there isn't a lifeguard.

The beach is always a spectacle, and the place is very affordable if you're on a tight budget. The surrounding area is clean, though this municipal government-run property could be maintained better.

You can relax and enjoy the view here. It's a nice beach resort stay, though the water isn't very good.
