Air Residences

The pool area was the disappointing part for us. As new visitors, we weren't taught the rules about going to the restrooms after swimming. One attendant saw us pass, then shouted at us from across the hall when I went to the restroom, warning us not to walk around wet and frightening us with talk of accidents. It would've been better to come over, greet us kindly, and explain the rule before we got in the pool. I hope they train the attendants in proper customer service and tell visitors the rules clearly beforehand. The building is a high-rise condominium with a mall, an elegant lobby, a pool, and places for drop-off and pickup. Short and long stays are possible.

The balcony views are lovely, and the location is very convenient, with places like 7-Eleven and PickUp Coffee within walking distance. But recurring pests and occasional sewage smells in the hallways take away from the stay. In the roughly 10 Airbnb units we've used here, at least 7 had noticeable cockroaches or fruit flies. Some hosts said they were addressing it, though there was little improvement. One unit we've stayed in consistently meets a genuine 5-star standard and is usually booked up. When it's unavailable and we book another unit in the same residence, pest problems are common. That makes me wonder if this is a wider building maintenance and management issue, not just a matter of individual hosts. We've been visiting the property each year since 2024 while spending time in the Philippines with my partner, and the experience has been very inconsistent. With tourists and local guests coming through steadily, I'd expect more investment in professional pest control and sanitation across the building. People spend a lot to travel internationally, and arriving to find cockroaches at this price point isn't acceptable. The property has a lot of potential, but until management and pest control are more consistent, it's a hit-or-miss stay.

The direct connection to Air Mall is incredibly convenient, and they clean every morning. Still, I found cockroaches in the hallway and had the same issues in the room, including cockroaches and a sewage smell. It was mediocre, and I won't stay here again.

A good option for both short and longer stays, especially for people working in nearby offices. It's in Makati, about a 30-minute walk from Greenbelt malls.
