Room 101 felt like a closet. The window just faced a brick wall, so no outside light came in, even on a bright sunny day. The bathroom seemed cut in half, as though the other side shared space with a utility room. There were cockroaches, and no refrigerator. I don’t believe for a second that this place deserves such a high rating. I booked four nights, but left as soon as I saw the room and booked somewhere else that same day. One good thing: the staff were really friendly. When I asked about changing rooms, they offered an upgrade to the premier Terrice for a fee, but I decided to move to a new hotel because this room just wasn’t OK.

We stayed for three days, and it was a good deal. Since it was my first time booking a hotel in Manila, they gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony and city view. Brother Josh was great, very informative and helpful, and he cheered us up. There are convenient places nearby, including 7 Eleven and Cash and Carry Mall. I could get what I needed just 50 meters away at the 24-hour 7 Eleven. Thank you Airo Suites Makati. I’d love to come back. 🤝🏻

The staff were nice, and I’ll definitely come back. I really loved the ambiance, it felt so peaceful and just right. Ten stars from me.

We booked through Agoda and checked in on arrival. The receptionist said our room had been upgraded for free, but later we realized it was the same room type we’d booked, not a real upgrade. We didn’t mind too much since the room was spacious and comfortable. The bigger disappointment was having no complimentary water. When we called, they said there wasn’t any, so we had to buy some from a nearby convenience store. We also saw cockroaches. The receptionist kindly brought pesticide, but the pests were still unpleasant. We stayed three days and two nights. On the last day, we asked for just an hour and a half of late checkout, but were told it would cost PHP 1,000 ($17-$18). That felt unreasonable, especially since the elevator was out for our whole stay. Carrying two 30-kg suitcases up to the third floor was exhausting. I’d expected some compromise, such as a short late checkout, given that inconvenience and the fact we’d also checked in late. The stay was very disappointing, and I can’t recommend this hotel. There are many better options for the money.
