I was in town for the Ayala Marathon, and One Pacific Place Serviced Residences worked really well for me. Ayala Triangle is only a short walk away, which made getting around for the event easy and stress-free. Even with the busy area outside, I could barely hear any noise in my room. The bed was comfortable, and I slept really well both before and after the race. The room and location suited me perfectly, and I had a great stay overall. I'd recommend it to anyone joining events nearby, and I'd love to come back on my next visit.

I got there and felt completely misled, like a lot of the other reviewers here. The staff were courteous and helpful, and breakfast was fine for filling up, though nothing special. The business district location puts a few places within walking distance, and it felt secure with guards all over. Still, walking around the area felt cold and rigid. The room was a reasonable size, but the plain furniture looked old. The bed was rock hard, the windows were filthy and taped up, and the hall carpets were badly worn. There was a musty smell in the corridors. My shower barely got beyond lukewarm, maybe because I was on the 36th floor? The TVs were tiny, and the whole place felt like a cheap Motel 6. I was stuck for my three-night stay because it was nonrefundable by the time I arrived. The Coro Hotel nearby looked much nicer for about the same price. I wouldn't stay here again. If you only need a bed and breakfast and don't expect any luxury, you could make do.

The pet policy made getting around a chore. With a dog, you can't use the common areas; you have to take a service elevator to B1 and leave through the parking garage. That means calling reception and waiting for someone to escort you. We were left waiting ages, even at quiet times, just to take the dog out or get something from our car. It felt like the hotel's old, rigid procedures mattered more than guests' time. The hotel itself is dated and needs a serious upgrade. There are no USB sockets in the rooms, and we had to ask specifically for a Smart TV. Staff were professional and the buffet was okay, but that didn't make up for the hassle. We were told casual clothes were required at the buffet, no pajamas, yet saw people wearing pajamas on both days. I left frustrated instead of relaxed. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you care about your time or are traveling with a pet.

The studio room was reasonably priced, and the rooms are decent, with air conditioning, a small fridge, a minibar/snackbar, and a sink. The room attendants and housekeepers deserve credit: they kept the room clean every time and were polite, attentive, and quick to respond to what guests needed. Some establishments are a bit far away and nearby food choices are limited, though there are good restaurants within walking distance.

The business district location is quiet, and that's the one thing I liked. Otherwise, the hotel looks, feels, and smells old. Getting off the elevator, the floor smelled moldy. The room was okay, but clearly worn. The old air conditioning took a while to cool the room, and I had to keep an eye on it because attendants or room service often left it on a timer that switched it off automatically. The towel charge was the worst part. I was charged for two towels after using them to dry my face when I washed off my makeup. They first asked for 1,000 pesos, and we settled on 800 because the marks were minimal. The towels were still clean, with just some powder and foundation smudges. They made it sound as if I'd wiped my face on them, then said washing wouldn't remove the stains and they needed dry cleaning. That felt like a stretch. I've stayed at other hotels in Makati and never been charged for this, and at home those kinds of marks wash out too. It's cheap, but the hassle isn't worth the money. I won't book here again.
