Gomez House

The rooms aren't new, but they're set up tastefully, and the customer service was awesome. Gomez house is owned by Durban, so I expected good quality and service. Restaurants, a seven eleven, pharmacy, bars, and an ATM are all within walking distance. I'd recommend staying here.

We only stayed one night, and the clean room and comfortable bed were good value for the money. The location in Makati Manila was handy, with plenty of places to eat and a 7eleven close by. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and we'd recommend the place. The shower didn't have working hot water, and the AC dripped onto our heads because it was above the pillows. Neither issue was a major hassle for us, and they may have been specific to our room, but they're worth mentioning.

I stayed two nights and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Metro Manila. It was good value, with places to eat within walking distance, and the employees were helpful. Though it's in Manila, it was relatively quiet most of the time. My room was a little small but okay, with no window, and the bed was just alright. Everything was clean. This was my third visit to the Philippines.

We needed somewhere to stay overnight so we wouldn't have to commute home very late, and I'm glad we found Gomez House. The place felt welcoming even before we stepped into reception. Our room for three was thoughtfully laid out, and I liked the details, from the bathroom shelving to the cozy shared roof deck. I wish more hosts paid this much attention to the guest experience. The prices are budget-friendly and the location is convenient, so I'd return and recommend it to friends. Just note there's no elevator if that matters to you.
