Makati Diamond Residences

The hotel is right across from Greenbelt and within walking distance of Glorietta. It has lovely rooms, a pool and pool bar, and a gym. The breakfast buffet has a good range, and the service was excellent. Everyone welcomed us with smiles, and housekeeping did a wonderful job. Shout out to Carl and to chef Jessica, who made the best omelet. We’d recommend staying here and would return.

The rooms are so spacious and comfortable, and their clean, thoughtful design makes the stay feel like being at home. They work well for a short visit or a longer one, and the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout. The lobby is on the small side, though it’s welcoming and well run. With the great location in Makati and the comfortable rooms and service, I’d gladly stay at Makati Diamond Residences again and recommend it.

The bed was really comfortable, and even with construction outside, the standard room stayed quiet. It was plenty of space for two. Service across the facilities was excellent, and the location sits perfectly between Ayala greenbelt mall and Salcedo Village.

The rooms are spacious and well kept, and both housekeeping and the front office gave five-star service. My five-night stay was just okay otherwise. I’m glad I hadn’t booked longer, since my business trip ended up extending over a month. Gate security was three-star, while breakfast and its service were one-star. If you don’t arrive early, the breakfast line can take over 10-15 minutes, and it’s poorly managed. I saw some staff let certain guests, especially white guests, skip ahead. They also seemed to give white guests more attention, checking on them and offering coffee, while I had to ask several times for a cup each day. The worst moment was being told to leave my breakfast table midway through the meal. I’d waited over 10 minutes, and a staff member had assigned me the table and placed a reserved tag there. Another staff member later said it belonged to someone else. I called over the person who’d seated me, and they apologized. I moved to another hotel and found much better options at the same price. I won’t stay here again, and if I ever do, I definitely won’t choose breakfast.
