People call this “the hotel with many names.” It seems to operate under different names, since there’s no sign saying “Makati Poblation Hotel.” The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was okay for the price. But my bedsheet was full of “bugs,” and I itched all night.

For 900 peso, the budget room is a lot for two people. I just found the location inconvenient, since it’s way inside a residential area.

We stayed for five nights, and the hostel was quiet, safe, and convenient. The rooms are simple, practical, and have great AC. The staff were super helpful, with tips on staying safe around the city, recommendations for local shops, and coffee suggestions. They said the right areas are very safe, so the safety tips weren’t really needed. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful, convenient place in Manilla.
