Hop Inn Hotel Makati Avenue

There's no luxury here, but for the price this budget hotel is fine. We paid $50 usd for two nights. The rooms are clean and simple, with the basics, though there's no refrigerator. Filtered water is available on every floor. I forgot to photograph my room, but all hop inn rooms look the same.

The decent price was about the only thing I liked. I booked a few nights to explore the city and regretted it quickly. Reception staff were cordial but unhelpful, seeming to turn down every request. My reserved ‘superior double room’ was cramped and uncomfortable, and noise from the Makati location made it worse. It had no electric kettle or slippers, and the bed wasn't comfortable for my back. I can't recommend this property, except perhaps for a quick one-night transit stay.

I needed somewhere to stay in an emergency and was glad I picked Hop Inn. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean. Even the bathroom was spotless, with no mold. I'll choose Hop Inn Hotels again next time, even at a different location.

Good value for the money, and I found the room comfortable with nice service and parking. The road outside is busy, though, and you can hear the traffic from inside. Still, I had a good stay.
