The room I moved into clearly hadn't had a deep clean in over a year, and there were lots of tiny cockroaches. During the viewing, they only showed me a bare unit, so I had no way to know what kind of roommate I'd get until I moved in. The admins were unhelpful, and some were rude. They wouldn't let me change my mind after I chose a six-month contract instead of the one-month option and had already signed, and the prices aren't flexible. Getting my deposit back took a long time, with no breakdown of the utilities they deducted. The whole experience has been really stressful.

This dorm doesn't feel inclusive or welcoming. The receptionist wasn't friendly, and although there are lots of rooms, they suddenly become unavailable when staff learn your gender, especially if you're LGBT. They say it's a safe environment, but how can it feel safe when they tell you some tenants are trying to petition to keep LGBT residents out? I hope you choose somewhere else in Makati.
