Jade Hotel & Suites

The location is perfect, close to supermarkets, restaurants, and destination malls. The staff are courteous and accommodating, and the rooms are excellent for the price. I tried the breakfast twice. It was decent, though I didn’t think it was worth PHP250.

I was here for four days of training because my company booked the hotel. The location was convenient, near supermarkets and restaurants, and check-in went smoothly. The room was okay, but daily cleaning only happens if you ask. They also require a ₱2,000 security deposit. The restaurant or café, which I believe is called Rafa, or at least shares the same kitchen, was the worst part for me. We ordered Sisig, pork BBQ, and chicken Inasal for dinner. The Sisig cost over ₱350 and was so loaded with red and green chilies that I couldn’t finish even a quarter of it. The menu didn’t warn that it was that spicy, and nobody told us. I sent it back, and it felt like a waste of money. I told the waiter, but only got a simple apology. The pork BBQ and Inasal were dry and bland too. Breakfast was fair, with the usual scrambled eggs and rice, rotating mains, and a basic spread of bread, fruit, iced tea, and coffee. The location and convenience were decent, but based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant.

Shopwise is right across the street, so it’s easy to pick up anything you need, and the hotel is accessible to spots around Metro Manila. The staff were kind and approachable, and service was good. The room was clean, with buffet breakfast and a pool in the bar area. You can hear some cars and jeepneys outside, but it wasn’t enough to be a hassle. I recommend Jade Hotel and Suites 😊.

The staff at the front desk and the guard were courteous and helpful, and the location made getting around easy, with supermarkets and fast food nearby. The air conditioning worked well in both the Premier Suite and Deluxe Double Room, and the pool was deep, though it didn’t seem well maintained. The rest of the stay was disappointing for the room categories. We found a cockroach, the Deluxe Double Room fridge didn’t work, and there were too few power outlets. The TV was outdated and not a smart TV, the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and the lighting was dim. Breakfast choices were very limited, some staff and the chef weren’t approachable, and parking was scarce. We expected more. The facilities and service could use improvements.
