Palm Rock

I’ve stayed here twice and would happily return. The rooms are modern and spacious, with a nice sized flat screen TV that swings out. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the internet was reliable on both visits. The showers were warm, just not as hot as I’d like, but at least they weren’t cold. Hopefully I’ll be back this fall.

The Wi-Fi was so slow it was almost unusable, and across the street there’s a public school. On weekdays, you hear noisy, happy kids from 6 AM to 6 PM. If you have a car, you’ll need to park on the street, though it’s quiet and a doorman or security guard is always there to help. The rooms themselves are modern, nicely appointed, spotless, and comfortable. It’s handy for the shops and restaurants around Rockwell/Power Plant Mall, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and service minded. Even the neighborhood cats are friendly and appreciate a pat and a little food.

I tried two room types during my time in Philippines, a Two bed room and a loft. Both were clean and really comfortable, and the price was excellent. If I’m in Manila again, I’ll probably stay here again.

It’s fine if all you need is somewhere to sleep, shower, and have a cup of coffee. The service is up to par, but there aren’t many channels, and there’s no phone in the room. The floors weren’t very clean, so don’t go barefoot like I did. It’s no frills, really. There’s a 7-11 nearby, and for anything else you’ll need the grab app for delivery. I won’t stay here again unless it’s just for one night. Get it, one Night...... "Moving on"
