A nice pool area, friendly front desk and door staff, and the place was quite clean. Great spot.

Our unit at Milano Residences was up high with nothing blocking the view, and we had a really comfortable stay. It's a peaceful, convenient location, whether you're staying short term or long term. I'd recommend it.

The rooms were cozy and modern, and the location is ideal. You're right in the centre and can walk almost everywhere. The lobby also looks elegant, though the elevators were poorly lit and their buttons were extremely dark. The gym equipment was too complicated for me. This was our third visit to Milano, last September, and it left me very disappointed. The other staff were especially welcoming, but the receptionist I dealt with was rude and inconsiderate. I arrived at 9am and waited six hours until the 3pm check-in time, only to be told I still couldn't check in. My boyfriend and I were staying in the same room. I had submitted copies of both our passports two weeks beforehand, as required, but she still wanted to charge me Php350 for an extra access card. She said the card couldn't be transferred and only my boyfriend, who booked the accommodation, could use it. She said I had to pay or wait until he arrived the next day, or I wouldn't be allowed to check in. I was exhausted after a 12 hour road trip and paid. The amount wasn't the issue. As a regular guest, I just wanted her to improve her service, or at least try to smile. The way she spoke to me was offensive and made the stay uncomfortable. That same employee tested my patience again the next day. I politely asked if she could keep my luggage at the counter while I went to buy something at Century City Mall. She firmly said no, it wasn't allowed, and told me to ask my host to look after my things. Frustrated, I said, “OKAY, just never mind,” and left the condo. The location and rooms were both perfect, but I'm extremely dissatisfied with the customer service, so I took off 3 stars.

The common areas were beautiful and the view was nice, but the bathroom and floor had cheap materials. I came for a turnover inspection and was asked far too many questions by security.

Most of the reception staff were kind and polite, but quite a few seemed ignorant about how to treat a younger Filipino woman on her own. I felt they were used to foreign men accompanying local women, as that seemed to be the main crowd in this area. A couple of incidents made me uncomfortable. Once I had my hands full of groceries, but security wouldn't open the door and asked me to show my access pass. I didn't have it because the building makes you hand over your pass to borrow an umbrella. They charge P500 if the umbrella is damaged or lost. Security seemed to think I was pretending to live there. Another night I came back after midnight from a wake and was stopped and asked which unit I was “visiting,” as if I were there to work. You can guess what kind of work they meant for a Filipina woman coming in at that hour. The hallways smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and I saw various unsavory situations in the lobby involving foreign men and local women. I was visiting on short notice with my elderly relatives and made the mistake of bringing them here because the apartment itself looked beautiful and relaxing. I won't do that again. The building felt shady, the area was trashy, and some staff were ill-mannered. I should have guessed from the Versace collab, since Versace is one of the trashiest brands out there.
