There's plenty of places to eat nearby, and the staff are very friendly and ready to help at any time. I stayed in a studio with a full-size kitchen and laundry machine, which worked well for a longer visit. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have the amenities you need. It's a great place to stay in Makati, Metro Manila. Breakfast options are somewhat limited, but you won't go hungry.

I first stayed at Somerset Central when I arrived in the Philippines, then came back for two nights after returning from Baguio. Since it was my first trip to the country, the staff's warm hospitality stood out. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and even went out of their way to arrange a late checkout. The hotel is well placed near the airport and many Makati attractions, with restaurants, green spaces, and a great Saturday market close by. After walking around the market, we spent the rest of the day relaxing beside the wonderful pool. The rooms were spotless and well equipped, and I especially liked having a washer-dryer combination. I'm already planning another Philippines trip, and Somerset Central will be on my itinerary.

Rommel, the bellman, made our stay at Somerset Central Makati even better. He was warm, professional, and quick to help with our bags and anything else we needed. We had a wonderful time there, and his attentive service really stood out. ✨🎊

The Studio Room was spotless and well cared for, and having a full kitchen and laundry in the room made a longer visit much easier. We also used the 7th-floor gym. The pool looked lovely, and other guests seemed to be enjoying the city views from up there. Breakfast was the one letdown for me as a vegan. My family liked the spread, but I mostly ended up with toast and fruit, since there weren't plant-based protein choices. Tofu or plant-based milk would make it more welcoming. This seems common across much of the Philippines, not just at Somerset. We stayed at Somerset Central Salcedo, which is in a great spot: peaceful, with local places to eat within walking distance and the major malls and sights a short drive away. It was reasonably priced and nicely furnished. The staff were attentive throughout. When the A/C in our first room had a problem, maintenance came promptly, then the team moved us to another room as soon as they realized repairs would take a while. We plan to stay here again when we return to Manila.
