Although I chose not to stay, the on-site staff handled my decision with real professionalism. The check-in team were understanding and courteous, and Justin, the manager, was especially gracious and helpful. I have only good things to say about their service. I left because the offerings and standards didn't seem to match what I've come to expect from Somerset properties internationally. If this location delivered that level of brand consistency, I would have happily stayed. I'd gladly try another Somerset run by a team like this one. It's a shame the corporate setup and brand execution here don't reflect the quality of the people.

The rooms were spacious and fully equipped, and the service was consistently above and beyond. Having a kids club was a real plus while travelling with children, and the staff surprised us with a special birthday treat. We were among the first guests at the newly opened Somerset Valero. The only disappointment was the breakfast buffet, which cost about 1k per person but felt bland and sparse: one viand, one vegetable, bread, egg, and coffee. I hope they add more options.

I was only passing through to pick up a couple staying at your hotel, but everyone I encountered was helpful and courteous. The Security Guard at the parking entrance, the woman at the parking booth, the Security Guard who helped me on the 7th floor of the parking area, and the Security Guard who pointed me to the lobby restroom all treated me well, even though I wasn't a guest. Thank you to the staff, and well done. This happened yesterday, February 13, 2026, between 3:25pm-3:35pm. P.S. I hope to be a hotel guest one day too.

Right in the middle of busy Makati, it feels like a peaceful oasis 💯. The service was great, and my premiere studio had plenty of space and the basic things needed for a staycation. The pool was clean and just right for a dip.
