We booked through Agoda but were refused check-in when we arrived. They said they don’t accept prepaid guests, and we hadn’t been notified about any cancellation. The payment had already been credited, with no refund. The staff weren’t helpful.

Agoda still shows my booking as confirmed, but the property told me they had cancelled it. They then offered me a room at a higher price than the one I booked.

I’d been awake for over 24 hours and just needed to shower and brush my teeth, but they wouldn’t let me check in early without paying another 500. I’d booked the room for 900 through Agoda and got there at 8:30 am. They said rooms were available, then kept repeating the same thing while I waited for hours. Agoda couldn’t reach the manager when I tried to cancel. I don’t see why they needed to charge extra when they weren’t likely to rent that room before 2 pm. There’s no flexibility here. At nest nano across the street, they allow free early check-in when a room is ready. This felt greedy, and I’m never staying here again.

The price felt fair for my two-night stay, and I’d recommend the property to solo travelers. They collect a Php1,500 security deposit, which is refunded at checkout. Hope you enjoy your stay too!
