DJ Paradise Hotel

The location is right along the highway, beside SnR, and 711 is only a few steps away. Staff were welcoming and did what they could to make the stay comfortable. Breakfast came to the room and was decent. The rooms are spacious, though very outdated. I think this old hotel and resort has been around since 2000. There's a pool across from the hotel area, but the kiddie pool was too far away.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They answered our questions and arranged services when we asked. Our room was spacious and clean, but being beside the main road made sleeping difficult. The pools were the letdown. We were told we could use only one of the many pools, and it was dirty and poorly maintained. It looked like renovations were going on while we were there, but that pool still wasn't being looked after.

The kids had fun at the pool, and our semi-suite was large, with huge beds and enough room for them to run around playing hide and seek. I also liked having a heater and hair dryer in the shower room. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was standard and satisfactory, and the pool was great for the kids. Housekeeping, though, wasn't available after 5 PM. The rooms, especially the comfort rooms, look badly outdated and need renovation. A concert nearby kept us awake, so check whether the stadium has one scheduled. The Wi-Fi was awful. I spent two hours working in the lobby on a project deadline, with mosquitoes around, and even my mobile data didn't work there. Food delivery was hard too: Jollibee doesn't cover the area, though there's a tapsihan across from the hotel building. I also looked at the cottages to see if we could extend after checkout, but they were in bad shape. I enjoyed the stay, but don't expect to come back for a while.

We're staying here now, and the hotel really needs upgrades. The sheets look old and unhygienic, and the room doesn't seem clean. I'm giving two stars because the staff are accommodating and always answer my questions.
