Kokomo Dive Resort Accommodation Hotel

The photos set different expectations: the actual floor is cement. We stayed for eight days, and the room was cleaned only once, when we asked. They don’t make it up automatically, and we were running low on toilet paper. The staff seemed cold and unhappy at work. Breakfast is served only from 8 to 10, and the food was highly processed, mostly corned beef and hotdogs. The Chinese pancake smelled like cockroach. Toast and eggs were the only decent options. Cats were up on the kitchen counter while someone was cooking, which was gross 🤢

There are only eight bungalows, and they’re pretty basic, but for the price that’s fair. I enjoyed my stay. The grounds are quiet, with lots of flowers, birds, bats, and lizards, and the owner is very nice and has two cute dogs. Calling it a resort may be a bit much. The bungalows have no sound insulation, so you hear everything. It’s right by the sea, but the beach has rubbish and broken glass, so you probably won’t want to swim there.

I really enjoyed having a private cottage just steps from the dive shop and pool. The food was great, and the pool was perfect for learning to dive and taking the Open Water course. I’d highly recommend staying here if you want somewhere relaxed, quiet, and friendly while exploring Camiguin’s amazing dive sites.

The food was yummy, the room was nice, and the pool was warm. The hot-water shower worked really well, and we loved the view. Irene, her husband, and the staff were all kind and accommodating, and even the dogs were sweet. It’s a charming place for some peace and quiet, with warm people around you. She also connected us with kind Kuya eloy, who gave us a tour. Very good price, too. Thanks, irene and kokomo! My friend and I will come back 🥰🙏
