Nypa Style Resort Camiguin

The restaurant's pasta was fantastic, and the wine was lovely too. We really enjoyed staying here, especially the beautiful grounds.

The resort’s Italian restaurant down the road was a highlight. The food was the best Italian meal we had in the Philippines, better than many places we tried in Italy. The menu changes every two days, so you could eat there daily. At the central restaurant they serve breakfast, including really tasty homemade bread, and wine in the afternoon. The same staff greeted us enthusiastically each day, which helped us feel at home during our four nights. The huts are spacious and set in a beautiful garden. Of all the places we stayed in the Philippines, this was our favorite. Compliments to the owners and staff for making it such a good stay!

After five weeks in the Philippines, this is easily the nicest place I’ve stayed. Walking in feels like stepping into Eden. The garden is beautifully cared for and full of different plants and flowers, the staff are kind, and breakfast is delicious. I’d recommend it to anyone, I’m sure you’ll have a magnificent experience.

The location near the round-way makes it easy to rent a scooter and reach the island sights, from the sunken sanctuary and church ruins to White Island and Mantigue Island. We stayed four nights and still didn’t manage to see all the highlights of Camiguin and the surrounding area. The cabin had what we needed, and the garden is beautiful. Since it’s right in nature, expect some nighttime visitors like insects and geckos. The mosquito net helped, though I’d suggest earplugs too. The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful, and they had a map showing the main highlights.
