The Westin Manila

The spacious lobby and common areas are well kept, and they made a great first impression on me. Modern, elegant interiors give the hotel a comfortable, refined feel. It’s presented as a luxury property, and its look and comfort live up to that reputation. The attention to detail and atmosphere seem well suited to either a business trip or a leisure stay.

We had booked three rooms and arrived before the usual check-in time. The hotel was able to give us one room right away, which we appreciated. Since it was the New Year peak period and the hotel was fully booked, many guests asked for late checkout, and the other two rooms weren’t ready until around 5-6 PM. Waiting was made easier by the Club Lounge access we had booked. The hotel also let us keep using the lounge and facilities until 7 PM the next day as compensation for the delay, which made a big difference and showed real care for guests. Mera, the Duty Manager, deserves special thanks for being professional and understanding and for helping us still have a wonderful stay. The way the hotel handled the problem made us feel valued. We’d recommend it and would be glad to stay again.

During my New Year’s stay, I was especially grateful to Sander at the front desk for arranging a late checkout around my flight. The desk team paid close attention to the details, and that level of service has made me want to choose The Westin Manila whenever I return to the city. The hotel is well placed for shopping, with Megamall, Shangri-La and The Podium about a 5 to 10-minute walk away. My room was very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional throughout, greeting me whenever we crossed paths. The food selection was excellent and varied, including plenty of fresh juices at the buffet. Angel at the club lounge was particularly attentive, upbeat and professional. Thank you to the Westin team for a very pleasant stay.

I’m back again at what feels like my home away from home. The restaurant service is first class, and Chef Charlie brings out an extensive, flavorful menu each time. He even walks around to chat with guests, which makes the meal feel like eating at home. The breakfast buffet changes every visit, with plenty of different things to try while in the country. The staff’s smiles and attentiveness make them feel like family. At the front desk, everyone is friendly and accommodating, and the little details make Elite Status members feel special. This is the best Marriott I’ve stayed at, despite having traveled all over the world as a Titanium Elite Member. It’s far from where I need to be whenever I’m in Manila, but Chef Charlie is the reason I keep choosing it. Kudos to the whole team!
